Prior to the meeting there will be a Public Forum commencing at 7.00 pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, after which Parish Council business will be conducted. 

The Council meeting will commence at 7.15 pm or at the closure of the public forum – whichever is the sooner.

This notice summons all members of the Council to attend from 7.00 pm or submit their apologies to the Clerk at the earliest opportunity.

Members of the public and press are welcome.

1.   Opening Comments from the Chairman

2.   Apologies for absence and reasons given

3.   To consider applicants for the co-opted position of Parish Councillor

4.   Declarations of interest in accordance with 2011 Localism Act

5.   To note reports from representatives of outside bodies 

6.   To note CCTV updates & image requests 

7.   To receive a report from the Recreational Area Working Group, resolve actions and expenditure for issues raised in the reports: 

a.   Washdyke

b.   Furlongs 

c.   Enos Wood – to consider permitting Councillor Crouch to close the wood in adverse weather conditions or when damaged/dangerous trees are identified

8.   Draft notes of the meeting held on 11 October 2023 resolution to adopt 

9.   Financial Matters:

a.   Resolution to approve payment of accounts as listed

b.   To note the bank reconciliation

c.   To consider a donation request from Citizens Advice Bureau and resolve

d.   To consider the second draft budget 2024/25

10.   Highway Matters: 

a.   Receive issues requiring maintenance / repair

b.   Receive Reactive Speed data and consider action

12.   To consider the response from Boston Borough Council regarding the foot way lighting costs and resolve action

13.   To note the report from the youth engagement BBQ and resolve future action   

14.   To note the update from LCC legal team regarding the abandoned MUGA status at Old Main Road and resolve further action

15.   To consider developing an emergency plan with LRF

16.   To resolve the location and expenditure of 2 permitted dog bins

17.   To consider a response for the Parish liaison meeting scheduled for January 

18.   To note general correspondences not addressed on this agenda & respond if required
