Old Leake Parish Council Meeting
8th June 2022

No members of the public were present.

1/6/22 Opening comments from the Chairman
The Chair, Councillor Pickett, welcomed everyone to the meeting.
2/6/22 Apologies for absence and reasons given
Apologies from Councillor Ashton were noted and accepted.
3/6/22 Declarations of interest in accordance with 2011 Localism Act
No declarations were made.
4/6/22 To note reports from representatives of outside bodies
There were no reports.
5/6/22 To receive a report from Michelle Cound Community Development Worker
a) Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. The event was very successful and well attended. £332 was raised for Inspire Lincs. Everything was well organized and went well on the day. Plans for an annual summer fate had been suggested as the event was so successful.
b) Co-Op site Meeting. The onsite meeting had not yet taken place. Councillor Ashton is to suggest some suitable dates.
6/6/22 To note CCTV requests
a) Community Centre – Training with Councillors Pickett, Bull and McCulloch was agreed for Friday 1st July on site with Initium.
b) Washdyke Lane – Martin Grey is to meet with Councillor Crouch regarding the Washdyke Lane CCTV recording system.
c) Enos Wood – no requests or issues were raised.
7/6/22 To receive a report from the recreational Area Working Group, resolve actions and expenditure for issues raised in the reports:
a) Washdyke Lane – The large pot hole at the edge of the grass verge is still in need of filling in. Councillor Crouch stated the old shelter support had been removed. The meadow is now ready for a path to be cut into it. Kompan are to attend and deal with the repairs.
b) Furlongs Lane – Kompan are to attend and action the repairs. There has been several issues with graffiti on the play equipment, the caretaker will remove it.
c) Enos Wood – Tree works have been undertaken. Councillor Crouch stated the hedge at the front of the woods had taken well and was growing nicely.
8/6/22 Draft notes of the meeting held on 11th May 2022, resolution to adopt
It was proposed, seconded, and unanimously resolved to accept the draft notes as the minutes.
9/6/22 To receive the internal auditors report
The report was received by the Chairman It stated the accounts were in good order and the book keeping was excellent.
10/6/22 To complete the Annual Audit
The AGAR was reviewed, completed, and signed.
11/6/22 Resolution to approve payment of accounts
It was proposed, seconded, and unanimously resolve to make the payments as listed below.

12/6/22 Highway Matters:
a) items requiring maintenance / repair
The large pothole by the Washdyke Lane play area is still in need of repair.
b) Update on reactive speed sign/road safety/Station Road school bus hard standing.
Councillor Skinner was not at the meeting to provide an update.
Graham Butler from the Road Safety Partnership has stated he is available to attend an onsite visit to locate the best positions for the reactive speed signs.
13/6/22 Planning Matters:
a. Application no: B/22/0206 single storey extension The Mill, Chapel Road. The Parish Council Supported this application.
b. Application no: B/22/0162 4-bedroom house land adjacent to Willow Lodge, Fellands Gate. The Parish Council objected to this application as it lies outside of the planning boundary. Councillor Pickett abstained from voting.
c. Application no: B/22/0225 single storey extension 22 Poplar Court. The Parish Council supported this application.
d. Application of approved matters: B/21/0533 outline planning permission for 5 x 2 story dwellings. The Parish Council objected to this application due to the highlighted lead pollution on the site.
e. NOTICE OF APPEAL: B/21/0428 Glamping site for 11 pods, land off Commonside Road
f. NOTICE OF APPEAL FOR ENFORCEMENT NOTICE No: B/21/0461: LAND TO THE REAR OF PANACHE, Station Road
