Old Leake Parish Council Extraordinary Meeting
Wednesday 23rd April 2025
Public Forum
No members of the public were present.
The Council meeting began at 7:00pm.
Councillors Present
Councillor David Dickason, Tom Ashton, Guy Bull, Sandra Pickett, Paul Skinner, and Sam Wild.

Rebecca Herberts
EOM1/4/25 Apologies for absence and reasons given.
No apologies were received.
EOM2/4/25 Chair’s announcements and any relevant updates
It is with great sadness that Old Leake Parish Council announces the passing of Joann Greer, who served as our Parish Clerk, The Council extends its heartfelt condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time.
EOM3/4/25 To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 and consider any requests for dispensations
No declarations were made.
EOM4/4/25 To appoint a Temporary Clerk
It was proposed, seconded and unanimously resolved to appoint Rebecca Herberts as the Temporary Clerk.
7:04pm Rebecca Herberts left the room
It was proposed, seconded and unanimously resolved that the contract that had been drawn up by the Chair be adopted, pay and benefits were also agreed.
7:10pm Rebecca Herberts returned to the room.
It was discussed that Boston Borough Council should be contacted to advise of the Temporary Clerk and to make sure paperwork for Councillor Sam Wild had been received and finalised.
The bank would be contacted to see if a secondary cheque book could be obtained whilst we wait for Parish Council correspondence.
7:24pm there being no other business the meeting was closed.
